Tradition

BJ Plastering & Consultants Ltd. is the result of four generations of plasterers dating back to the early 1900s. Mr. Bernadus Jacobous (BJ) Blankert learned a unique style of plastering under the apprenticeship of his father and grandfather in Europe. Later after moving to Vancouver in 1956, he passed his knowledge and talent to his son Ron, who today under his father's name, owns and operates one of the top plastering companies in western Canada.

We are certified, bonded, insured and government approved Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) applicator and Acrylic Finish Rainscreen specialists. Our company is recognized and approved by suppliers throughout Canada, including Sto Corp, Senergy, Imasco Minerals Ltd., and Dryvit Systems, and is a member of BC Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) and the BC Wall & Ceiling Association. Excellence

BJ Plastering & Consultants has installed EIFS products successfully in a variety of applications including multi-family and single family residential, industrial, commercial and institutional buildings, often taking over where others have left off. In addition to EIFS, stucco and rainscreen application & restoration, BJ Plastering can provide other construction services including demolition and reconstruction as required by General Contractors, Engineers, Architects or by building owners.
